Case #6
Clinical data: Patient with stomach cancer, intestinal type. Peritoneal metastasis? Frozen section diagnosis: Fibrosis with foreign material. No carcinoma.
Pathology and comment: Small vessels with swollen endothel may mimic
carcinomatous glands. Demonstration of erythrocytes in the lumina and foreign
material may be helpful.
