Case #4
Clinical data: 60 year-old male patient operated on with gastric carcinoma. Peritoneal nodule (0.5 cm) of gray-black color. Metastasis? Frozen section diagnosis: Accessory spleen.
Pathology and comment: Larger accessory spleens may be macroscopically
verified. Microscopic diagnosis of small (few mm) spleen nodule is easy.
