Case #31
 
Clinical data: A child with extrahepatic biliary atresia. Frozen section diagnosis: Extrahepatic biliary atresia with fibrosis. No cirrhosis. Pathology and comment: The diagnosis will be established by the presence of intrahepatic bile ducts and cholestasis (black pigment) Only fibrosis was seen. Presence of cirrhosis may lead to changing of surgery.
